Senate election in Massachusetts January 18th, 2010

Robin Rowe
Vote in Massachusetts on Tuesday January 19

The people of Massachusetts have a very important election tomorrow.
Not only is it important for the state Senate seat to be filled, but also the empty seat in Washington.
Although Kennedy held that seat for many years, it is not an entitlement or a Kennedy legacy to pass on to Coakley for more of the same.

There are Two major reasons I’m voting for Brown tomorrow:

  • Brown will protect our right to bear arms as a basic constitutional liberty and he will honor and protect our returning Veterans. Coakley will support gun control.
  • He opposes the current National Health Care Plan, and the spending to create such a plan. Massachusetts can not afford Coakley!

Of course there are other reasons I want him in the senate seat, but I feel those two issues are my most passionate motivators.

I hope every registered voter in the state gets off their duff and gets to the polls tomorrow and casts their vote for the candidate they feel is the right person for our state and our country. If you don’t know enough about the candidates to make an educated decision, I have the links for both Brown and Coakley. You can check out where they stand on the issues and make your vote count.
